The painting is a highly personal project. The Swallow's Nest is a miniature castle on the edge of a cliff over the Black Sea near the city of Yalta, which stands as a symbol of the Crimean Peninsular. I often think of the place, and the ghostly image in the painting taking a flew over the Swallow's Nest represents my nostalgic dreams.
Beauty is the main reason and purpose for my art. I spare no obstacle in both challenging and expressing the power and mystery of beauty. My favorite media are acrylics and watercolor.
